Modeling Miss Bubbles...

Sometimes you just can't get the sense of scale, or how to wear a piece of jewelry… a couple days ago I was thinking about this & how photos just don't communicate my jewelry well…  I was casual (wearing some comfy clothes I like for in the studio) but decided Miss Bubbles went with my outfit… so…

Yep, that's me… modeling the necklace & earring set I call "Miss Bubbles"… I'd normally wear her with a nicer outfit, but casual works as well… She & a few of her friends are available for purchase & can be seen here.

A Little Something Simple...

KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid

I first heard this acronym when working for a DOD contractor many years ago… I recently did a piece for a friend that was simple, because that's what she prefers… I also did earrings-only, since again that's what she prefers…  So… I decided that I could do a simple series of earrings, since others probably have this preference as well… Duh!  Not everyone wants a "set"…

For a friend...

I was asked to make these for a friend… they were a Mother's Day present for his wife (also my friend) who likes very simple small earrings & has only 1 special necklace she wears (has birthstones for her children & grandchildren)…

I have started doing some singular items (i.e. not sets) & will develop more of these, since not everyone wants both a necklace & earrings… that said, if you see something for sale on my site and only want a portion let me know - I'll see what I can do.

Shhhh… Don't Tell Mom!!

This is an experimental piece… and one I did for my Mom.. so DON'T TELL MOM… this is one of those times I'm glad Mom doesn't have a computer :)

This was my first time playing with resin… I attached an old photo (copy) of my brother & I to a wooden heart & topped it with some resin… then I set it in a silver bezel to which I had soldered a little heart-vine decoration… some things went wrong (I'm not telling) and it isn't perfect… but Mom will love it anyway - and if she wants I can fix it for her later (I don't have the supplies to fix it right now)...

I made some cute little heart-vine earrings to go with it… I think this will make Mom smile… I hope it makes her smile Really Big!!
