I took metalworking instruction from Kirk Sklar at Metal Heart Jewelry in Minneapolis. Kirk is a wonderful and patient teacher… if you're looking for a place to learn metalworking in the Twin Cities area I highly recommend his studio. By browsing the pictures on his studio web site (or his Jewelry Site) you'll be able to quickly see the difference between a novice (me) and a true artist (Kirk).
